The 2018 Brian Piccolo Award  recipients are Ramsey High School students Lauren Chamberlin and Luke Monaco.  Lauren and Luke exemplified the dedication and determination to excel athletically and academically, and their leadership qualities on the field and in the classroom will help them to continue to succeed in college.

The Greater Ramsey UNICO is proud to award two scholarships every year to deserving seniors attending college in the fall;                        The Lawrence Inserra Sr. Memorial Scholarship (funded by the Inserra Family and UNICO) and The Greater Ramsey UNICO Scholarship.

This year's committee was comprised of teachers, business men and women and community volunteers who, over a two week period, reviewed each applicant, looking for those who went above and beyond, had many extra-curricular activities and exemplified UNICO's motto of "Service Above Self."  The students must also be of Italian heritage, of good character and have been involved in  school and community activities during their high school tenure.

There were two recipients for each scholarship, and Greater Ramsey UNICO's President Roberta Re' Kleinbard presented the awards. Congratulations to all four recipients and best of luck to you in all you do!
